54-Year-Old Man Completes High School: Expresses Gratitude To President Weah For Paying His WASSCE Fees
A 54-year-old Man identified as Alusine Mansaray has completed his High School education at the Mac Foundation High School in Monrovia; extends gratitude to President George Weah for paying his West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) tuition.
Student Alusine commended the Weah-led Administration for the support of the Country’s Education system which has accorded many Liberian children to go to school.
The West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) is a type of standardized regional test in West Africa Countries including Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, and Gambia, and is administered by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
He called on the Government and philanthropists to assist him further his tertiary (University) Education as he intend to do Agriculture.
“Age has nothing to do with education and I have realized that when you are not educated you are in darkness”, he said.
Alusine, who is a family head with five children indicated that it is only with education that transformation and development can be achieved in a Nation.
He added that it is a focused and determination for someone at his age to have returned to grade school something he encouraged others in respective of ages to go to school.
