LIBERIA’S STRONGEST MAN THOMAS BENJAMIN ALIAS ‘’NO FEAR’’ TO COMPETE IN OHIO
Liberia Heavy Weight Lifter and defending champ of Liberia’s strongest man competition, Thomas Benjamin alias ‘’No Fear’’ has articulated high optimism of making Liberia proud Roland James writes.
Thomas Benjamin, who is the ultimate weight lifter in Liberia is expected to showcase his prowess at the upcoming strongman competition in Ohio, in March of this year.
Also, Thomas Benjamin the multi-pound weight lifter, widely known as ‘’No Fear’’ ahead of the strong man competition scheduled for Ohio, spoke in an upscale interview with Kukatonon News and let out that, he is more determined at moment, he is confident and is leaving Liberia with the mindset of winning and also to gain experience.
‘’First of all, I am going to win and also get another experience. Every day I am in the gym training, working hard to put Liberia on the map’’ exclaimed Benjamin.
In retrospect, Thomas Benjamin months ago was named Champion after he won the Liberia Strongest Man Championship.
The title was given to Benjamin after he lifted a weight that his competitors were unable to lift.
In another development, Strongman Thomas Benjamin, furthered that he is ready to participate in the Arnold Strongman competition, his training is on the course, and he is currently engaged in intense extreme weight training because being the best is all he wants.
‘’I started my career at a local gym at Slip-way in central Monrovia and during a local competition with my friends, I became victorious. I realized that this is a sport, that is very popular and lucrative therefore, I decided to pursue it. I started following other people out of the country and I knew that this is a sport, that when you put your effort into it you are going to achieve what you want’’, he depicted.
Meanwhile, famous Weight Lifter Thomas Benjamin alias ‘’No Fear’’ encouraged other bodybuilders, in Liberia to remain focused, and Liberians should kindly support or give him the needed backing as he represents the country this year.
‘’Today I am a Champion, champion, tomorrow someone else can be a Champion. I am a champion today I need their support, because through their support when I go out there I will be able to put out my best performance.’’.
The Arnold Strongman Competition which will be held in Ohio next month is expected to be the epicenter where scores of international weightlifters will be in attendance to go head-to-head with each other.
