Monrovia: The Center For the Exchange of Intellectual Opinions (CEIO) on Wednesday, February 8th, honored the Managing Director of the National Insurance Corporation of Liberia, Sam Mannah, and his Team.
NICOL’s visionary administrator Mannah and his staff were revered for the impressive work done in the rejuvenation of NICOL.
Furthermore, Hon. Mannah, while accepting the award from the then Chairman of Liberia’s most significant intellectual Center CEIO, told the public that the award means a lot to him and the institution.
“This award is attributed to the hardworking staff of NICOL who was there when NICOL didn’t have a generator, who sat on plastic chairs to ensure that NICOL becomes a buzzing insurance corporation. Let it be known that we at NICOL, fought a good fight and today NICOL’s, work has produced outstanding recognition. Our Best days are yet to come”; Mannah emotionally expresses.
It is essential to note that NICOL has been in existence for about 39 years now since its doors, were opened on February 9th, 1984.
NICOL offers Auto Insurance, Life and Health Insurance, Allied and Perils Insurance, and Burglary, Marine Insurance and also serves as reinsurance for other Companies.
In the meantime, the Management of Liberia’s foremost insurer NICOL is asking the Government to support NICOL and at the same time, is championing the rationale for Ships within Liberia’s waters, to obtain Marine Insurance from NICOL, because when that is done, NICOL will be expanded in the remaining fourteen counties of Liberia and thereafter, more jobs will be produced for Liberians.
