A Foya chief speaking at the briefing

“As we citizens of Foya Statutory District did petition Dr George M. Weah to be re-elected, we remain committed and, no amount of hate, envy, threats, and cheap propaganda against any of our sons or daughters will stop us from overwhelmingly voting President Weah come October 10, 2023,” the tribal group said in a joint statement.

The Lofa county largest tribal group said they remain committed to the Pro-Poor Agenda for Transformation and Development under the starwort ship of President Weah.

“We will continue to respect past leaders because we stood with them during their days of countless opportunities that they failed to utilize. Therefore, regardless of the condition that this administration took Foya from to now a better state of the many developments in the land, no mortal can distract the district from the many achievement and opportunities that lie ahead of our children’s future. We want to reaffirm said the declaration of support ahead of October 10, 2023” Foya Statutory Superintendent Sandie stated.

In a related development, the Kissi Chiefs and elders as blasted at members of the opposition, who are fighting to remove their kingsmen and women from government through hate polities and proper gander.

“We as sons and daughters of Lofa County are taken aback by the dangerous, malicious and morally despicable comments being loosely spewed out on the Spoon TV Network on February 22, 2023, by Cllr. Jerome Verdier accuses our son Jefferson Koijee of being the mastermind of the untimely death of Musu Charloe, the daughter of Cllr. Gloria Musu Scott” Superintendent Sandie said.

According to them, it was very unfortunate on the part of Verdier and his likes to continuously link their son to the war.

“We want to be very categorical and be on record that if anything happens to our son Verdier, Costa and some heelless leaders of the opposition community have lost political gravity and decided to bring him down (assassinate) as being said by Henry Costa will not be taken lightly” the statement furthered noted.

The Kissi Chief and Elders however, called on the government of Liberia through the Minister of Justice to speedily take seizure of this matter, the gruesome and untimely death of the daughter of Cllr. Musu Scott before it goes out of order noting that the litany of deliberate attacks on Jefferson Tamba Koijee are not taken lightly by them.

“We, hereby encourage Verdier to take Mayor Jefferson Tamba Koijee to court if he has substantial evidence against him on his multiple of claims.

We as sons and daughters of Foya, see these orchestrated plans of character assassinations, ploys and smear campaigns as works being sanctioned of the grossly failed desperado oldman Boakai. A facsimile “John Kizzel”.

Now, we know that the way to end this unprecedented renaissance in Lofa as a whole, is to destroy our son, Tamba. But we want to say that the sons and daughters of Foya will strongly resist this to the core. We also believe that these constant attacks are envisioned to scar the high-earned characters of our illustrious sons and daughters as well as those who are contributing to the social economic challenges of our beloved district, Foya and Lofa County,” Superintendent Sande angrily stated.

The Foya Chiefs and Elders also mentioned that it can be recalled that out of hate and envy, Verdier, Costa, Representative Yekah Korluba and other members of the opposition have made myriad threats and attacks against their own including; Amb. Nora Finda Bundoo, Hon. Thomas P. Fallah Sen. Saah H. Joseph, H.E. Amb. Dee-Maxwell Saah Kemayah and most especially the exact representation of the youthful population of our country, the Lord Mayor of the City of Monrovia, Jefferson Tamba Koijee amongst others, amongst others.

The Foya chief and elders said as they acknowledge that as the oldest Paramount Chief of Liberia Chief Fallah Quio, the father of Madam Nora Finda Bundoo, Madam Sowoelay Koiniadu Chief Zoe, Chiefs and elders, Religious Council as well as every sector of the Foya Society, they however condemned the most recent attack on the Lord Mayor of the City of Monrovia; by Cllr. Verdier on the Spoon talk about the death of little Charloe Musu as their son Jefferson Tamba Koijee never participated in the civil war in whatever way.
