There have been a series of allegations that non-residents are being brought from across Montserrado County to Monrovia for the National Election Commission BVR process in what is referred to as Voters’ Trucking.
A young man has disclosed that he was brought from Buchanan, Fair Ground, District #3, Grand Bassa County to Montserrado County District #9 for the Biometric Voting Registration process.
The man identifies himself as God’s Power and further stated that he was brought by a man named Moses Gbagon who also lived in the same community with him in Buchanan along with other guys in number.
“My name is God Power, I am from Buchanan, Fair Ground District#3. I was brought by one man named Moses Gbagon, we lived in the same community. We were plenty in the car and we came in a short bus”; He confessed.
He further narrated that after he had gotten his voter’s ID card, he will give ten dollars, then we will go back to Buchanan, and during the voting time, they would come vote for the person and then they will get the balance ten dollars.
“I don’t know the man we came to vote for from anywhere, but my Prof say(s) I should come”; he concluded.
