Zubah’s town, Duport Road, Paynesville: A young man named Emmanuel Momo was arrested by the Liberia National Police on Saturday, January 28th.
According to the LNP, Emmanuel Momo who allegedly murdered his biological mother was arrested and is undergoing investigation.
According to the LNP Chief of Press and Public Affairs, Moses Carter, the incident occurred in Zubah’s town, Duport road, Paynesville City, at 7:25 pm.
Carter furthered that the mortal remains of the victim named Lorpu Singbah, have been taken to the JFK morgue for preservation purposes. The motive of the crime perpetrator has not yet been disclosed.
On the other hand, LNP Spokesman Carter forewarned, all Liberians to remain peaceful and stressed that anyone who commits a crime, will face the full weight of the law.
The LNP Spokesman made the statement, at their Headquarters on Capitol Hill in Monrovia.
In the meantime, LNP spokesman Carter, who lamented over the incident, also used the time to speak also, on the death of a two-year-old Child, that was murdered and their body found with parts extracted.
In other developments, the LNP has also revealed that the young man who beheaded a 70-year-old man, is being investigated and has been forwarded to court.
For the time being, the LNP chief of press and public affairs has announced that, the administration of Col.
Patrick Sudue will ensure that
perpetrators of violence and crimes will be made to account for their actions and will not go free with impunity.
