Rep. Foko Under Probe For  LD$1-Million District’s Fund

As concern heightens among constituents, a pressure intellectual group based in District #9, Montserrado County, under the banner “Intellectual Squadron” is vehemently demanding that District Representative Frank Saah Foko, gives an account on the implementation of a reported 1-million Liberian Dollars, that was given to the district during the President’s Nationwide County Tour.

To continue, the pressure intellectual group in a news conference recently in the District through its Chairman Jessie  Gbeegbar, stated that their concern is being triggered by District #9 Representative Frank Saah Foko’s failure to provide the necessary updates to his constituents.

According to Gbeegbar, the lawmaker has over-the-time failed to account for the reported 1 million Liberian Dollars intended to benefit the inhabitants of District #9.

“The money that was given to the District by the President, is not meant for the liability imposed through historical circumstances or for  Frank Saah Foko to pocket it and live at the expense of our district. Therefore, we caution him to give an account as to how the money was properly used”, the Intellectual Squadron group alarmed chairman Gbeegbar told Journalists.

It can be recounted that last year during the Nationwide County Tour of President George Weah, funding was allocated for the district through their leadership which was meant for developmental initiatives.
