CDC TAKES MASSIVE SENSITIZATION TO A MULTITUDE OF FIRST-TIME VOTERS IN MONTSERRADO

Ahead of the commencement of the National Elections Commission (NEC) voter registration exercise on Monday, March 20th, the Ruling Coalition for Democratic (CDC) has launched a mass sensitization to hundreds of first-time voters across Montserrado County who are expected to participate and execute their civic responsibilities in the ensuing elections.

Following the massive sensitization staged by the ruling CDC political party on Wednesday, March 15th which began in district #10, concerning NEC’s voters’ registration awareness, the activities gathered numbers of youths covering mostly newly eligible voters on receiving strategic education and necessities of obtaining the voter registration cards that would prepare them to make a planned future national decision.

Speaking on behalf of the party and in his capacity as National Secretary of the Ruling Coalition for Democratic Change, Jefferson Koijee, placed a key emphasis on the rights of first-time voters over demonstrating their enfranchised to decide for themselves, future leaders.

The CDC National Secretary General and also the Mayor of the City of Monrovia, meanwhile articulated that as the ruling establishment aimed for one-round victory comes October 10, 2023, it will have to leave no stone unturned in cautioning eligible to positively react to the Nation Elections Commissions’ official voters registration exercise and awareness.

Remarking at the launched awareness ceremony held in Susan Berry Community, Congo Town, the viable CDC District ten aspirant, Josephine Davies used the occasion to rally first-time voters seeking what she terms as their “weapon” in the ensuing elections to elect, and re-elect, or unseat every single decision maker.

Madam Davies, following the awareness exercise, told Journalists that Montserrado County electoral District ten would be politically turned over to the Ruling establishment in addition to what she termed as her good gestures towards and District its people.
